Dr. M's Hands

" target=_top>

Morning! Hmm, we’re feelin pretty good. We treated ourselves to a nice Sicilian Steak with mushrooms and onions last night and have just finished up the leftovers ... Mmmm. It came with a nice salad, fresh baked bread, spaghetti, and a couple of Bloody Mary’s ... Exorbitance ... this is the life! *Sigh*

What’s up ... hmm

Well, we worked and then afterward had a meeting with Dr. M. His appointments are something we look forward to most weeks. There is a special magic about him. There were three parts out ... Casey (7), Annemarie (13), and Anna (4). Jamie (32) drove home ... oh and stopped at the bank too!

While we were at the restaurant, we all tried to get a better sense of what had happened at Dr. M's. We did better than we have been of late, but am very far from where we need to be. We know as far as there is always the problem walking down the hall to his office. Dr. M. comes out to receive us, but we don’t seem to be able to move forward unless he isn’t watching us. Then when we get to the door, he has to stand way back, before we dare to scoot through the door.

Casey usually presents first. At least of late. Usually things will progress until something happens and Annemarie "takes over." We think Casey has to "give in" to her, but maybe sometimes does this to avoid something that is too difficult for her. We don’t remember what she was saying to Dr. M. We do recall a part, in that, she seemed to be having difficulty because she has very sensitive hearing. There was one other thing coming to recall now ... she seemed upset thinking that she was going to be touched.

We think she confuses time with past and present. Dr. M. as we’ve said before always gives us a wide space and never, ever crosses his side of the room.

We’re not sure if Casey came back out or if it just went to Anna. Anna seemed a little sadder than she was the time before, but still curious. We know just the part where she was starring at Dr. M’s hands again. I’m not sure if she is in the past or present. It seems she is more able to stay in the present, but is remembering the past. She seemed to think sometimes that hands will hurt her.

When we close our eyes and concentrate on the session, it is an image of Dr. M’s hands we are still seeing. It sounds kind of strange, but after 5 years of being in the office with him. We don’t seem to recall having ever looked at them before. It seems very daring, even now. It makes us tired and dizzy though.

I think both Casies walked us out of the appointment. There was the familiar argument when we passed the water fountain whether we could have a drink of water or not. We walked past the first two fountains, but were able to stop at the third.

I don’t know if something happened at work. Not much maybe. Having trouble remembering it now. Oh yeah, we spent some time working on a CARF project on refreshing ourselves of the meeting notes from the CARF meeting. Our friend was in so that took some time organizing too. Not sure what else happened. I think we were busy, but really don’t know. Seems the day is escaping us.

I think that’s about it for now. We have a have hour before work, but am very groggy. Having trouble keeping open our eyes. Maybe an early shower? Hmm, think we better try that.

Wow! Dinner sounds great.
The grind to inspection is nearly over! [Monday, isn`t it?] It`s no wonder you`re tired. Take care.
