This morning were feeling a little nervous about the day, but happy. Theres so much going on in our minds, but what seems to want most attention is how happy we feel after our our walk through the J-neighborhood. So many cool things happening. There were a few having more trouble, but the community is sensitive to sharing their seasonal joy.
The highlight of our day yesterday was getting a Christmas bonus from "da Boss." She was very generous! It opens new windows of thought. I think were going to bring the money to the Hallmark store. Wed like to do shopping there for those at the Center.
Lets see this year ... well try to get for the boss, of course, but theres also the other Sister who lives at the center and their retired household help. Then there needs to be a small something for the other eight staff and the 41 individuals we serve? Shoot, better count on a little extra shopping ... *giggle*
Guess, well actually have to shop to figure it out? That way maybe we could get in a couple of the staffs kids, just the younger ones ... lets see there is little Miss Nancy, Angel, and umm, wed like something for Marias son too, and surely theres enough for an ornament for Rosa's new baby?
We keep working it over in our mind so as not to miss anyone. LOL - this is certainly more fun than thinking of the boss computer I crashed for three and a half hours yesterday afternoon. Thank God as the Big Boss and the showing of special holiday patience while we worked through fixing it!
Pretty good things happening actually ... the transportation company called to check on holiday schedules for the center. Forced me to look at a calendar. You know what? Vacation starts this Saturday through January 4th! Hehe, I know well be going in to work, but it still feels pretty glorious. Much more relaxed... Its beginning to look a lot like Christmas!

Ah it is def. the Christmas season! It has come so quickly, and flying by at a even speedier pace - yet not fast enough - LoL. I always urge it to hurry, and then miss it when it is gone. 9 days til the event! Wooo! I hope all is well with you and yours =-D Much love,
Erin
Whoa, I don't think I could buy that many gifts! It is difficult when you have contact with a large group, and you wish you could show your affection for them. I'm glad it sounds like you are in the Christmas spirit. :-)

It sounds a lot like Christmas in here....and I am so jealous...I can't remember the last time we had a Christmas bonus....probably in the 1980s:( But I should be thankful we didnt' have to take a pay cut this year. My friends at American Airlines had to take substantial pay and benefit cuts :(
